  • Convenient referral
    • more efficient client management within the organisation and referral across agencies enhancing overall service delivery
  • Manage data & generate reports
    • able to generate reports on clients’ progress and outcomes as well as statistical reports on clients’ profile quickly
  • Security
    • a two-tier security feature ensures that only assigned staff in-charge has the right to read or write into the case file

FAQs

  1. How can NCSS assist new and first-time users?

Training sessions are conducted for VWO staff to familiarise them with the system. NCSS also provides assistance during the initial phase, such as initial implementation whereby assistance is given to set up the VWOs’ accounts, when the organisation first adopts the system for implementation.

  2. What are the costs involved?

The system is free-of-charge. In addition VWOs could also tap on the VCF Core / Non-core grants for data migration and technical infrastructure support. Click here for more information on VCF.

  3. How does the two-tier security system work?

The access rights among various staff users in a VWO can be controlled and configured through a security matrix. An additional layer of security access is required through the assignment of each case to specific staff-in-charge.

  4. How is the VWO clients’ information kept confidential?

VWO clients’ information is kept confidential as users enter the system through the use of SingPass, which stands for “Singapore Personal Access” and is a personal password for users. Stringent policies and procedures are also in place to safeguard the clients’ information.

  5. Can the system help generate reports?

Yes, various categories of information can be extracted to generate aggregate reports for service planning / monitoring purposes.
